Ellen Onkelinx is a negotiation, emotional intelligence, conflict management and public affairs expert and an accredited business mediator at master the gap®. She started her professional career as a lawyer at the Brussels based law firm ALTIUS. Before founding master the gap® in 2017, Ellen was the CEO of the Flemish trade association of film & TV producers (VOFTP) for more than 10 years. In this function she led multi-party negotiations and negotiated contracts, new legislation and sector agreements with governments, broadcasters and many other stakeholders. Ellen Onkelinx is also guest lecturer negotiation at Vlerick Business School and an independent Board member of the Wit-Gele Kruis Vlaanderen and the Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds (V.A.F.). At the end of 2020 Ellen obtained her certification as Emotional Intelligence & Leadership Coach at the internationally renowned Daniel Goleman Emotional Intelligence Program (Goleman EI) (cohort January 2020).
