BRUSSELS FASHION & DESIGNERS SALES

After a year of uncertainties and postponed plans it is time to look forward to a new and especially renewed edition of the MAD Sales. The 'MAD Sales' are now called the 'Brussels Fashion & Designers Sales' and are organized in collaboration with the magazines Knack Weekend and Le Vif Weekend.

MAD wants to give Brussels creatives wings to fly.  With the Brussels Fashion & Designers Sales we put the Brussels fashion and design sector in the spotlight and we support designers in selling their stock from last year. The partnership with Knack and Le Vif weekend will strengthen the sales with more media attention, but will also increase the visibility for Brussels designers.

RENEWED FORMULA & conditions of participation

If you are a fashion designer or an interior designer headquartered in the Brussels Capital Region or you have an atelier or sales point there, you are eligible to participate in the Brussels Fashion & Designers Sales. For the first time we are breaking out of the walls of MAD Brussels and encourage brand to participate from their own atelier or sales points. Next to fashion, we also add a selection of design for this edition.

 

EXTRA VISIBILITY

Besides the communication through the channels of MAD Brussels, the Brussels Fashion & Designers Sales will be extra promoted this year by media partners Knack Weekend and Le Vif Weekend. Next to general editorial attention and advertisements in the magazines and a banner campaign on their respective sites, there will also be an extensive poster campaign with accompanying folder with all the locations. 

 

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Public Hours 

  • Thursday 25 November from 17h00 until 21h00 - nocturne evening 
  • Friday 26 November from 11h00 until 19h00
  • Saturday 27 November from 11h00 until 19h00 

FORMULAS

We offer participants two formulas:

1. Participate from your own point of sale or location

  • Free participation
  • Communicative support online and for your showcase

2. Participate with a booth at MAD Brussels

  • Stand of 5 m2: 100 euro
  • Stand of 10 m2: 175 euro
  • Rent of 1 table: 25 euros (max. 1 table per participant)
  • Rent of chairs: free (max. 2 chairs per participant)
  • MAD does not provide clothes racks, coat racks and fitting trays
  • The spaces can be filled as desired, but everything must fit in the assigned space
  • MAD does not provide a Bancontact system. Each participant provides their own payment system (cash or online payment system)
  • This is a Covid Safe event. The Covid Safe Pass will be asked at the entrance to each participant and each visitor
  • Construction: Thursday 25 November from 9h00 until 17h00
  • Deconstruction: Saturday 27 November from 19h00 until 21h00

The MAD reserves the right to intervene in the selection and determine the final choice. 

 

SUBSCRIPTION

Register by filling out THIS FORM completely. Registrations are open until Monday 25 October 2021, 18:00

Procedure:

  • After forwarding your registration, we will review your application internally and you will be contacted by a MAD staff member with confirmation of your participation. MAD will contact you at the latest on Friday 29 October 2021.
  • The MAD reserves the right to intervene in the selection and determine the final choice. 
  • After selection, you will be sent the practical information.
