MAD Brussels is looking for a business strategy consultant specialized in the design sector to join its team of external experts. We are seeking for an experienced consultant for a mission involving support and advisory services in business strategy for the furniture design and collectible design sectors.

Context

MAD Brussels supports Brussels-based creative in their strategic business, brand, and product development. MAD Brussels has created various support programs depending on the development stage of business activities of Brussels enterprises. 

Through a series of individual and free coaching sessions, we provide professional advice in the fashion and design sectors on concept, brand positioning, business model, commercial strategy, sourcing, production, distribution channels, pricing and financial advice, exportation, contracts, image, communication, and marketing.

MAD Brussels has its head office Place du Nouveau Marché aux Grains, 10 in 1000 Brussels, where activities and exhibitions are organized regularly.

MAD Brussels also has an incubator located at Rue du Vautour 4, 1000 Brussels, which offers incubated creatives a workspace and a production workshop

 

The MISSION

The collaboration will be concluded via a framework agreement*, which aims to entrust a service provider with the implementation of support and consulting services in commercial strategy within the framework of the MAD business programs, as well as interventions at MAD Business Events.

The number of hours will be evaluated based on the expert's availability. 

*This is a framework contract with no minimum threshold but a maximum threshold of €25,000.00 VAT included/3 years.

 

Your quote

The price is an hourly rate par hour of coaching provided. It is mentioned in the offer exluding VAT. It includes all charges for the execution of the mission, including insurance, teaching materials, printings costs, travel expenses, phone, internert ect. If the coach decides to organize thier sessions outside MAD, no addtional costs can be charged. The hourly rate for coaching effectively provided also includes preparation, reporting, and administrative follow-up. The price is not subject to revision

 

The desired profile

  • Working experience in the design sector: furniture, textile, objects, and collectible design
  • Proven experience and expertise in commercial management
  • The consultant has a significant network in the design sector and, depending on the project, can put them in contact with their network.

 

Selection criteria

  • Price (50%)
  • The specific expertise and experience of the consultant (30%)
  • The distribution networks and brands supported (20%)

 

Selection procedure : 

The offers must be signed. They must include:

  • A presentation of the consultant/company and their CV
  • Brand portfolio
  • A price offer with an hourly rate detail (excluding and including VAT)
