Conceived as an immersive and multidisciplinary exhibition, KNOTT SO MAD retraces 25 years of designs, collaborations, and friendships by Belgian designer Jean-Paul Knott.

Jean-Paul Knott celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of his fashion brand with the exhibition KNOTT SO MAD. Since the beginning, Jean-Paul Knott, a unique figure in Belgian fashion has pursued a quest for balance between rigor and freedom, form and movement, body and spirit. His fashion, imbued with natural elegance and sincerity, reveals clothing as a space of presence and emotion rather than a mere object of trend.

Over these twenty-five years, Jean-Paul Knott, one of the last independent Belgian designers, has traced a unique path in the landscape of contemporary fashion. His work stands out for its natural elegance, economy of gesture, and constant search for balance, between form and movement, rigor and freedom, body and spirit.

KNOTT SO MAD gathers fashion, art, sound, and movement in a vibrant dialogue. More than a retrospective, this exhibition is a celebration of a quarter century of creation and friendship, the expression of sincere, clear, and poetic fashion. These twenty-five years are also marked by artistic dialogues and collaborations. Jean-Paul Knott pays tribute to the creators, artisans, and friends who have nurtured his vision and accompanied his journey. Among them: Aki Kuroda, Annabelle Hyvrier, Cathy Coëz, Daniel Von Weinberger, Danny Venlet, Denis Meyers, Erin Lawlor, Estel Ménesguen, Eugene Gallegos, Hidemi Iizuka, Ingrid Plater-Syberg, Jacques Weemaels, Jean Claude Wouters, Jean-Marc De Pelsemaeker, Jean-Pierre Waty, Julian Cerruti, Karel Balas, Laurent Julliand, Lina Karam, Mireille Roobaert, Petrov Ahner, Rita S., Rosette De Stefano, Suitou Nakatsuka , Tavares Italo & Tamaki Ogata.
