Flanders DC, MAD Brussels, and Wallonie-Bruxelles Design Mode are organising a meeting between designers and international editors on 5th December 2024 in Brussels.

About D2B

D2B (Designer To Business) is an annual initiative of the Belgium is Design project, which has been bringing together Belgian designers and international editors since 2007. These professional meetings provide a unique platform to establish direct contacts, deepen mutual knowledge, and initiate collaborations. More than 60 international companies have already participated, including prestigious brands such as DROOG (NL), FIAM ITALIA (IT), NORMANN COPENHAGEN (DK), IBRIDE (FR), and many others.

The event aims to foster constructive dialogue between designers and editors, whether they are emerging or established. Designers are selected based on their portfolio and their affinities with the participating companies.

PROGRAMME

Date & timing: Thursday, 5th December 2024

09:30 - 12:30: Editor presentations. The companies will be invited to present their philosophy and production methods to designers, professionals, and the Belgian press.
12.30 - 13:30: Networking lunch
13:30 - 18:00: Individual meetings (speed dating) between companies and designers, based on a pre-selection.
