MAD Brussels

We inspire, we connect, we guide the Brussels fashion & design industry. In addition to promoting and showcasing the Brussels fashion and design sector, the Center for Fashion & Design wants to stimulate, support and encourage creative initiatives. Innovative, sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurship plays a very important role at MAD. Designers can get help in developing their own brand and label. Together with a lot of Brussels creative talent, MAD Brussels builds the creative character of the capital.

MAD Brussels is a non-profit organisation with a vision to create an innovative, sustainable and inclusive Brussels, built by and for creatives. For us, creators are the actors of positive development. The mission of MAD Brussels therefore includes the economic support, encouragement and promotion of Brussels creative entrepreneurs and actors from the fashion and design sector on a national and international level.

MAD's head office is located at Nieuwe Graanmarkt 10, 1000 Brussels. This 3,000m² building regularly hosts activities open to the public.

TASKS

Content creation for MAD Brussels' newsletter. Search topics, research, copywriting and translations.
Conducting interviews, copywriting and translations.
Update and create web pages.
Copywriting and translations of web texts.
Copywriting for MAD Brussels' social media.
Creation of video content for TikTok and Instagram reels.
Layout of presentations
Practical tasks in preparation for and during events such as opening nights, conferences, workshops, exhibitions and lectures ... (managing registrations, reception, preparing rooms, creating video content ...).

SEARCHED PROFILE

You are studying communication at bachelor's or master's level.
You enjoy working in a team.
You are flexible and can also take part in evening or weekend activities.
French- or Dutch-speaking, a good level of English is a big plus.
Versatile or a good adaptability (as assignments are different and require a wide range of skills).A love for the creative industry.
