“I have a weakness for beauty in all its forms. It has shaped me into who I am.” — Ilja De Weerdt

This summer, step into the world of What’s Your Style? at MAD Brussels, an exhibition that takes you behind the scenes of the fashion world and introduces you to a often unseen yet essential figure: the stylist.

Discover how styling goes far beyond choosing clothes. It is a form of visual storytelling. You’ll see how stylists build images, create combinations, and shape contexts that influence how fashion is experienced. Each work shows that style is never accidental, but the result of a clear vision, collaboration, and a strong sense of image and narrative.

In the exhibition, you’ll meet 11 Belgian stylists, each with their own signature. From bold and experimental to subtle and minimalist, you’ll move through different worlds where fashion speaks a different language each time. Together, they reveal how diverse styling can be, and how strongly it shapes the way we view fashion and identity.

Tom Eerebout, a Belgian fashion director and consultant based in London, has developed a narrative aesthetic and has worked on Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residencies as well as her iconic red carpet looks. He is presented alongside Loudmilla, a Brussels-based creative artist who blends her Congolese roots with a European aesthetic in styling and art direction, translating the beauty of her surroundings into a rich visual language. Also featured is Farah El Bastani, a fashion and celebrity stylist with more than ten years of experience shaping visual identities for artists, public figures, and brands. Her work shows how styling starts from the relationship between clothing, body, and identity, and how imagery can become a personal dialogue.

Throughout the exhibition, you are invited to reflect on your own sense of style: what attracts you, what surprises you, and how your own style takes shape. What’s Your Style? thus becomes not only an introduction to eleven creative voices, but also a personal journey into how images and fashion influence you every day.

An exhibition featuring work by:
Tom Eerebout, Lisa Lapauw, Benoît Béthume, Jan Bries, Lieve Gerrits, Loudmilla, Francis Boesmans, Ilja De Weerdt, Christine Van Laer, and Farah El Bastani.

Scenography by the Brussels-based More To Show

More To Show is an international agency specializing in technical direction at the intersection of events, fashion, and architecture. It is part of the Show More group, alongside Ombre (lighting design) and PWR Lighting (innovative lighting solutions). Between concept and spatial execution, More To Show develops environments where light, material, and movement interact. Each project becomes a language; each space, an experience. For houses such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Maison Margiela, and Mercedes-Benz, the agency creates precise, immersive, and sensorial environments. A practice where technique recedes in favor of emotion, and where every detail contributes to a unified spatial narrative.
