About Triaxes

TRIAXES was an accompaniment program that was part of the operations of MAD Brussels from 2014 to 2021.

The program was built on the guidance of entrepreneurs during their product development trajectory by 3 experts from different fields. In total, the TRIAXES program accompanied more than 44 design and fashion projects during 5 years. The program was based on the idea that offering a mix of different expertises to design and fashion entrepreneurs during their product development journey, specifically focused on the crucial Research & Development (R&D) phase, could lead to a clear understanding of the concept, the target market, and the necessary set-up and production techniques.

TRIAXES also has a Masters program (TRIAXES Ens), that still continues today, where students from different educations and schools collaboratively developed a pre-prototype product and business plan.

The program was funded by ERDF - European Regional Development Fund, the Brussels Capital Regionand Innoviris.

TRIAXES INCLUDED

— 3 programs

  • TRIAXES Pro: Expert accompaniment during the R&D phase of a product development
  • TRIAXES Mode: Expert accompaniment during the development phase of a fashion collection- or accessories  
  • TRIAXES Ens: A Master`s programme jointly offered by ULB Polytech, Solvay, ULB Law and La Cambre that allows students to work across disciplines and create a prototype product

— 40 experts involved from different sectors such as: Business management, Engineering, Industrial design, Product design, International sales, Sourcing and production, Communication, Graphic Design. 

— 44 entrepreneurs/projects accompanied

— 91 students guided

— 6 to 18 months of support offered per project

— 8000 hours of coaching were provided

The TRIAXES program ended in November 2021 with the TRIAXES Exhibition where we presented the results of 22 projects.
