Vesma Kontere McQuillan is an Oslo, Norway based architect and writer. McQuillan is behind the concept Fashion Spaces(Rom på motenin Norwegian): Fashion expressed through architectural sites, not pages of magazines. 

Vesma K. McQuillan is a professor at the University College Kristiania, Westerdals Faculty of Communication and Design, Oslo, Norway. She has been exploring the potential of architecture as a medium to create an identity for fashion designers, communities and places since 1996. First as a creator and editor of the very first Latvian fashion and lifestyle magazine “Pastaiga”, and later as an architect, designer and concept developer. She has developed the concept and interior architecture for Eger Karl Johan Oslo, Norway.

Since 2015 her research has been focused onOMA/AMO collaboration with/for Prada.Particularly on the fashion shows, done in collaboration between AMO and Prada, and the design process behind the scenes. The book is scheduled to release in 2019. 

In 2018, to explore the idea of Fashion Spacesin its different aspects such as architecture, fashion, music, image, and text, and also bring clearness in the terminology, the conference Fashion Spaces Westerdals took place at the University College Kristiania, Oslo. 

The results of the conference will be manifested in a printed publication: The bookazineFashion Spaces/Rom på moten, a book with academic and professional content that has the appearance of a fashion magazine.


She is a Content strategy with a focus on Belgian & French markets ans she creates and optimizes localized content and experience that drive real business value

Her highlights:
- B2B Content creation online & offline (website, brochures, newsletters, emails, media ads, socials media, blog, customer cases, white papers)
- Coordinate concept videos (think of the concept, write the script) Take care of partnerships that will leverage brand and visibility in key areas
- Look for local Brand ambassadors
- Support and run marketing projects, events & campaigns to develop the brand and the visibility of Lightspeed
- Help with Marketing Automation (Knak and Marketo) 


Gilles Van Gestel (gemmologist and diamond cutter) and Margaux Spruyt (goldsmith), joined forces 5 years ago to launch I.Ma.Gi.N. Jewels, an affordable fine jewellery brand. 
​With 7 stores in Belgium, they represent a new omnichannel concept which changes the way they interact with customers.
